( Criminal Jurisdiction ) Friday, the Eighth day of November Two Thousand Nineteen PRESENT The Hon`ble Mr Justice A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA CRIMINAL MISCELLANEOUS PETITION No.16111 of 2019 IN CRL.R.C.No.832 of 2019 M.A.M.ELANGO [ PETITIONER ] Vs S.RAMKUMAR [ RESPONDENT ] Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to (i) To extend the time for complying the conditional orders passed in the above Crl.M.P.No.12352/2019 in Crl.R.C.No.832/2019 dated 29.08.2019 by further period of six weeks.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.A.MARIAPPAN, Advocate for the petitioner, and of M/S.N.NANMARAN, on behalf of the 1st Respondents, the court made the following order:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed by the petitioner for extension of the time by six weeks to comply with the order of this Court dated 29.08.2019, passed in Crl.M.P.No.12352 of 2019 in Crl.R.C.No. 832 of 2019.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that as per order dated 29.08.2019, this Court directed the petitioner to deposit the amount of Rs.3,00,000/- within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order and the date expired. He would submit that due to his financial constraints, the petitioner is unable to deposit such a huge amount. Thereby, he would seek extension of time by six weeks to deposit the amount.

Taking into consideration the submission, the time is extended by Three weeks from today.
