This petition has been filed to implead the petitioners herein as respondents 2 to 5 in W.P.No.27809 of 2023 and pass orders.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that they are interested party to this writ petition and they have to be heard. He further submits that the respondents 1 and 2 have submitted a representation to the 3rd respondent herein seeking steps to be taken to adorn the Vadakalai Thirunaman Jewel on the forehead of the Utsavar deity on all special occasions. He further submitted that the customary practice of the temple should be preserved. Hence prays to allow this petition.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent/writ petitioners objected to allow this impleading petition and they have filed their counter wherein they have stated that the petitioners are neither necessary nor proper parties to the writ petition and impleading them would necessarily 1/3

diver the writ petition to a different tangent.

4. Heard both sides.

5.Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition and considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is ordered and the petitioners are impleaded in the writ petition as Respondents 5 to 8. 6.Registry is directed to carryout necessary amendment in the writ petition and list the matter on 18.07.2024.
