O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the petitioner, seeking for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents herein to step up the pay of the petitioner on par with her Junior notionally with effect from 1.1.2017 and to grant enhancement in pension with attendant monetary benefits.

2. The case of the petitioner was originally appointed as Secondary Grade Teacher on 01.10.1986 and promoted to the Post Elementary School Head Mistress on 29.02.2004, subsequently promoted to the post of B.T Assistant and was placed in the pay scale of Rs.6500-200-11500 in the year 2007. Thereafter, on 02.06.2010 she was promoted to the post of Middle School Head https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Master and retired on 31.10.2017. The grievance of the petitioner is that one Mr.A.Mark who is junior to the petitioner was trying more pension than the petitioner. Therefore the petitioner made a representation on 13.09.2019 to the respondents, seeking to enhance the pension with attendant monetary benefits notionally on par with her junior. Since there is no response forthcoming despite her representation the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and since the representation made by the petitioner is still pending, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner made on 13.09.2019 and dispose of the same by passing appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
