This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register the complaint of the petitioner dated 11.04.2022 and to investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given a complaint to the respondents on the allegation of job racketing that he was cheated to the tune of Rs.2,99,500/- by one Arul and others; the grievance of the petitioner is that no action has been taken so far.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the complaint given by the petitioner is now lying on the file of the Inspector of Police, Pennadam Police Station and the current paper enquiry has been initiated in C.No.H4/E-2301046/2022 and the same is pending. 2/4

5. Since the allegations are serious in nature, I feel it is appropriate to direct the Inspector of Police, Pennadam Police Station to expedite the enquiry and do the needful in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed.
