Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to remove the name of the fifth respondent in Patta No.134 and issue fresh patta in favour of the petitioner vide memorandum O.Mu.No.3452/2025/G, dated 04.06.2025 of the second respondent to the third respondent and 1/4

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the third respondent to remove the name of the fifth respondent in the Patta No.134 and to issue fresh patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of the subject property.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3.It is seen from the records that the third respondent had already conducted an enquiry and submitted a report before the second respondent. In turn, the second respondent directed the third respondent to pass orders, since the third respondent is the competent authority to decide the application submitted by the petitioner.

4.In view of the above, the third respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the respondents 4 and 5 and affording them an opportunity of hearing, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
