O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to dispose of the representation dated 30.08.2017 to disburse all the terminal benefits to the petitioner within the stipulated time and confer all the consequential benefits.

2.The petitioner was appointed as a Peon in the Pondicherry Market Committee. Thereafter, the petitioner was promoted to the post of 2/6

Supervisor in the said Committee and further promoted as Superintendent Grade I in the said Committee. On 30.12.2016, the petitioner retired from service as Superintendent Grade I in the said committee. After his retirement, the respondents did not disbursed the terminal benefits of the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation to the 5th respondent dated 30.08.2017 to disburse the terminal without further delay. The said representation was not considered by the respondents. Hence, this Writ Petition.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the terminal benefits of the petitioner has not been given till date. 4.Dr.B.Ramasamy, learned Additional Government Pleader (Puducherry) would submit that if a period of four weeks time is granted, the respondents would consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders.

5.Considering the submission of the learned counsel appearing on either side, the petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation to the respondents within a period of four weeks and on receipt of the same, the respondents are directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
