ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition is filed, seeking a direction to the Subordinate Court, Tambaram, to dispose of the petition for divorce filed by the petitioner/wife within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. Having regard to the limited prayer made in this revision, this Court is inclined to dispose of the revision, even without notice to the respondent.

3. The petitioner herein filed HMOP.No.291 of 2021 seeking divorce on the grounds of cruelty and desertion.

4. The perusal of the docket entry furnished in the typed set of papers would suggest, the respondent filed his counter in main OP on 07.07.2022 and recording of evidence in the main OP had commenced on 15.09.2022. Now, the matter in the stage of PW1 cross. 2 / 4

5. In view of the same, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the Court below to dispose of the main OP within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
