This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.40 of 2022.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent. 3.
The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent police has registered a case in Crime No.40 of 2022 on 18.03.2022, no final report is filed till date. 4.
The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the investigation is under progress and final report will be filed shortly.

For a complaint given by the petitioner on 15.07.2020, two years had been taken to register the F.I.R. itself. In that case, the 2/4
respondent police is directed to expedite the investigation and complete the same and file a final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
