This Civil Revision Petition seeks for expeditious disposal of I.A.No.7 of 2023 in O.S.No.422 of 2006 on the file of the learned District Munsif at Hosur, Krishnagiri District.

2. When the matter came up for admission, I sought for a report from the learned District Munsif, Hosur, Krishnagiri District. The learned Judge has sent a report stating that since the respondents in I.A.No.7 of 2023 have been seeking time for filing of a counter, she has been constrained to adjourn the proceedings.

3. If a party does not file counter despite the indulgence of adjournments that have been granted by the Court, the Court need not wait for the said party to file a counter to the said application. The Court is always empowered to set the respondents exparte and proceed further in the proceedings.

4. Taking into consideration the report filed by the learned District Munsif, Hosur, there shall be a direction to the learned Judge to dispose of the interim application on or before 19.12.2024. The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of accordingly.
