This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the respondent police to take further action on the complaint dated 15.10.2018 given by the petitioner.
2. Inspite of repeated adjournments, neither the petitioner nor his counsel has entered into appearance and made their submissions. Heard Mr.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.
3. Today when the petition is came up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent on instruction would submit that in respect of the complaint dated 15.10.2018 given by the petitioner, the Station House Officer, Anti-Land Grabbing Cell, Kancheepuram conducted an enquiry in C.No.415 of 2018 and after due enquiry, the same has been closed on 20.01.2019. 4. Hence, in view of the above, the complaint given by the petitioner has already been considered by the respondent police, nothing survives for further adjudication. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
