This matter is listed today, under the caption " for extension of time".

2. This Court, by order dated 31.10.2023, had disposed of the Civil Revision Petition in CRP.No.3746 of 2023, by directing the I Additional District Judge, Salem, to dispose of the O.S.No.103/2019, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

3. The I Additional District Judge, Salem, has addressed a letter dated 29.01.2024 to the Registry seeking extension of time for the reasons stated in the said letter.

4. This Court perused the letter dated 29.01.2024 sent by the learned I Additional District Judge, Salem, and is satisfied with the reasons stated in the letter for not disposing the said O.S.No.103/2019 within the time stipulated by this Court in the order in CRP No.3746 of 2023 dated 31.10.2023.

5. Accordingly, this Court grants further time of six months to the learned I Additional District Judge, Salem, to dispose of the O.S.No.103/2019. from the date of receipt of the communication of this order from the Registry.
