ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 10.02.2023 and to provide light duty office work to the petitioner based on the health condition heart bye pass surgery within the time limit to be prescribed by this Court.

2.The petitioner was appointed as a Sanitary Worker in the respondent by proceedings No.Na.Ka.61/2012, dated 30.08.2012 and Subsequently, he was regularized and granted time scale of pay. While in service, the petitioner suffered with chest pain on 13.09.2022 and he was admitted in the hospital and underwent heart surgery. Thereafter, he discharged from the hospital on 11.09.2022 and the Doctors advised him to do light work with the limited activities. Thereafter, the petitioner made a representation with the medical records on 10.02.2023 to the respondent. Till date the respondent did not consider his representation. Hence, this Writ Petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner has been considered by the Authorities on 10.02.2023 and he has been given office duty from 18.08.2023 onwards and he was not made to work as Sweeper any any point of time.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case that the petitioner underwent heart surgery and now he is taking treatment, this Court reiterates that the officials should be given light duty to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
