Prayer : This Contempt Petition has been filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act 1971 to punish the respondents for the act of disobedience of the Order of this Court dated 09.06.2023 made in W.P.No.16767 of 2023 . ORDER

The contempt petition has been instituted to punish the respondents for willful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 09.06.2023 passed in W.P.No.16767 of 2023.

2. The learned Government Advocate would submit that the online application seeking patta submitted by the petitioner was scrutinized.

3. Since the petitioner has to secure no objection certificate from the Corporation, the Tahsildar asked the petitioner to produce the certificate enabling him to further consider the patta application. It is needless to state that the

petitioner has to comply with the requirements by producing all necessary documents. Merely by filing a contempt petition, petitioner cannot secure patta unless he fullfills the conditions as stipulated under the provisions of the Patta Pass Book Act and Rules. The Common order passed by this Court is only to entertain application seeking patta and decide the same on merits.

4. That being so, the present contempt petition is unnecessary and stands closed. The petitioner is at liberty to submit all the required documents for the purpose of considering his application.
