ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by S.S.SUNDAR, J.,] (1)Mr.A.Edwin Prabakar, learned Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1, 3 and 4. Mr.E.C.Ramesh, learned Standing counsel accepts notice on behalf of the 2nd respondent. (2)The above writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct respondents to inspect the lake bund and water catchment area comprised in Survey Nos.593 situated at Korattur Village pursuant to the letter bearing Na.Ka.No.13/1698010/2024 dated
26.02.2024 issued by the 3rd respondent and issue order for formation of ECO park in the Korattur Lake area, it is otherwise in order, within the time that may be fixed by this Court.
(3)Though the writ petition is filed for a larger relief, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner would be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.06.2024 and the earlier representations submitted to the District Collector and to pass appropriate orders by taking action on the petitioner's representations.
(4)The learned counsel for the petitioner states that a communication has been received from another charitable Trust which would contribute to the extent of Rs.5 lakhs.
(5)Keeping in mind such donations, the respondents may consider the representation of the petitioner.
(6)Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the contentions of the petitioner either in the affidavit or in the representation, this Court directs the respondents 3 and 5 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.06.2024 on merits and in accordance with law and pass
appropriate orders or to take action, if it is feasible, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
(7)Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
