ORDER

The petitioner has filed this petition to transfer the investigation in Crime No.12 of 2024 on the file of S-14 Peerkkankaranai Police Station to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

2. Though the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the complaint was given on 03.11.2023, whereas the FIR had been registered only after 4 months and even thereafter, they are not conducting any investigation and therefore, the present petition has been filed.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that, already, investigation has been completed and a negative charge sheet has also been filed before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Tambaram on 26.10.2024.

4. Since the investigation has already been completed and final report has also been filed before the Court, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tambaram is directed to issue notice to the de-facto complainant and the petitioner herein and proceed with the final report in accordance with law. The said exercise shall be completed by the Magistrate within one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
