Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his property comprised in Survey No.475/12, Block No.19, Ward 'D', T.S No.35, 36, 37, 38, 74 to an extent of 15000 sq.ft. situated at Trichy Road, Namakkal Town based on the petitioner's complaint dated 14.08.2017.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to provide police protection to the petitioner and his property comprised in Survey No.475/12, Block No.19, Ward 'D', T.S No.35, 36, 37, 38, 74 to an extent of 15000 sq.ft. situated at Trichy Road, Namakkal Town based on the petitioner's complaint dated 14.08.2017.

2. It is seen that the petitioner has filed this petition to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to give police protection to the petitioner and his property. Now, almost three years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh complaint on fresh cause of action, if so advised.

3. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
