When the matter came up for hearing today, the petitioners as well as the third respondent/defacto complainant are personally present before this Court and identified themselves. They also produced their identity proofs before this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned counsel for the third respondent and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the first and second respondents.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that pending proceedings in Spl.S.C.No.28 of 2019 on the file of the Sessions Judge Special Court for SC/ST Act, Villupuram, the third respondent/de-facto complainant and the petitioners have amicably settled the issue among themselves and the de-facto complainant has also filed a joint compromise memo dated 22.10.2019 stating that he has no objection if the proceedings in Spl.S.C.No.28 of 2019 on the file of the Sessions Judge Special Court for SC/ST Act, Villupuram is quashed. 4.Recording the statements made by the defacto complainant in the joint compromise memo filed by him dated 22.10.2019, the entire proceedings in Spl.S.C.No.28 of 2019 on the file of the Sessions Judge Special Court for SC/ST Act, Villupuram is quashed. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
