JUDGMENT
(Judgment of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM,J.) The writ appeal has been instituted assailing the order dated 28.06.2024 in W.P.No.12341 of 2022.
2. The writ petition came to be instituted to direct the TANGEDCO to cancel the electricity service connection provided to the fifth respondent. The writ Court rejected the writ petition mainly on the ground that title dispute exists between the parties. It is not in dispute that a civil suit in O.S.No.122 of 2015 on the file of the Principal District Munsif Court, Ulundurpet is pending. That being so, the appellant has to resolve the dispute in the pending civil suit. A mere direction sought for to disconnect the electricity connection cannot be considered by the writ Court. Thus the
writ appeal is devoid of merits and stands dismissed. Consequently, C.M.P.No.27821 of 2024 is also dismissed. No costs. Index : yes/no (S.M.S.,J.) (K.R.S.,J.) 23.04.2025 ss To
