O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 02.07.2024 seeking issuance of patta in respect of the property situated in survey Nos.134/4, 131/13, 133/9, 133/5, 119/4, 120/7, 120/3, 120/11, 120/4, 87/4, 87/5, 133/2, 133/8, 132/5, 121/7, 140/8, 88/4A, 88/4B, 88/4C, 88/4D, 88/4E, 88/4F, 88/4G, 88/4H, 147/3, 149/1, 149/2, 149/6, 149/7P, 149/8P, 149/9, 149/10, 69/4, 69/5, 69/6, 73/1 & 73/2A in Meyyoor Village, Arani Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District.

2. By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondents, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that he got right over the above 2/5

mentioned property under Will dated 29.01.2004 executed by his mother Dhanalakshmi. It is further stated that the petitioner's mother died on 08.04.2004. Based on the Will, he submitted a representation dated 02.07.2024 before the official respondents seeking issuance of patta and the same has not been considered till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered on its own merits and appropriate orders will be passed.

In view of the above submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.07.2024 and pass final orders, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
