The petitioner herein is one of the named accused in the complaint given by 1/4

one Gayathri on 29.05.2025 alleging that the accused person, promising a decent job with a lucrative salary, had taken her to Dubai and confined her in a hotel named Claridge Hote, Dilruba Club and forced her to indulge in immoral trafficking. This petitioner was arrested against whom an LOC was issued and was arrested when he landed at Tiruchy AirPort, he has been in prison since 30.07.2025.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this petitioner was only a driver in the said club and he has no overt act in the crime. However, the complaint clearly discloses the involvement of the petitioner in the crime as a supervisor of the said club.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submits that out of accused, two of them are still absconding and therefore, the case could not be proceeded further and is still at the PRC stage. If the petitioner is released on bail, there is every possibility of absconding from the crime.

4. Considering the nature of offence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed for the present.
