O R D E R
This writ petition is filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the fourth respondent to forward the representation of the petitioner dated 18.08.2022 to the second respondent and consequently direct the second respondent to forthwith take action in accordance with law on the representation of the petitioner dated 18.08.2022 with respect to land measuring an extent of 75 cents, comprised in punjai survey No.208 situated at Sonallur Village, Vandalur Taluk, Chengalpattu District.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the subject property belongs to the petitioner's grandfather and grandmother and their names were mentioned in old SLR copy and A-Register copy issued by the Assistant District Collector Office, Kanchipuram. Whileso the 6th respondent father alleged obtained patta in his favour and to cancel the same the petitioner made a representation to the official
respondents herein on 18.08.2022. However, the same was not considered. Hence this petition.
3. Since no adverse order is passed against the private respondents notice to private respondents dispensed with.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has given a representation to the official respondents herein on 18.08.2022, but the same was not considered. Hence prays this Court for appropriate orders.
5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.
6. In view of the above, this Court directs the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.08.2022 in terms of Section 10 of Patta Pass Book Act,1983 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as aggrieved parties if any.
7. With the above terms, this present writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
