The petitioners apprehending arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 296(b) and 351(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, (BNS), 2023 and Sections 7 and 8 1/4

of POCSO Act, in Crime No.44 of 2025, based on the complaint given by the mother of the victim girl, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent Police submits that the statement of the victim girl has been recorded and the statement reveals that the petitioners who are the father and paternal uncle of the victim girl had misbehaved with the victim girl. When the mother of the victim girl came to know about the incident and questioned the misconduct of the petitioners, they have threatened her.

3. Considering the statement of the victim girl, this Court is not inclined to entertain this anticipatory bail petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
