O R D E R

The petitioner herein is a wanted accused in a case of theft. 1/3

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that the Manager of L&T Company lodged a complaint alleging that stock materials were stolen from the godown. Based on the said complaint, A1 was arrested and, pursuant to his confession, the involvement of the present petitioner came to light. It is alleged that the petitioner, who owns a tractor and is engaged in building demolition activities, had transported the materials stolen from the premises of the de-facto complainant.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) further submits that the stolen articles are yet to be recovered and that the petitioner is absconding. Unless and until he is secured and taken into custody, recovery of the stolen articles cannot be effected.

4. Considering the above objections, the petition for anticipatory bail stands dismissed.
