By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondents, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider his representation dated 27.07.2023 within a time fixed by this Court.

3. According to the petitioner, he is in possession and enjoyment of 38 cents of land in S.No.41/8 situated at Kalappa Naickenpatty Village, Senthamangalam Taluk, Namakkal District. The above said property was acquired by his ancestors in the year 1925 under Document No.822/1925 on the file of the Sub-Registrar Office, Senthamangalam. It is further stated that patta was also issued in the name of petitioner's predecessor-in-interest in the year 1975. Subsequently, during updation of revenue records under UDR Scheme, the above mentioned property was wrongly classified as 'Kallankuthu' and aggrieved by the same, the petitioner submitted a representation before the 2nd respondent dated 27.07.2023 seeking correction of revenue records. The said representation has not been considered by the 2nd respondent till date. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, who is 2/4

taking notice for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 27.07.2023 will be considered by the 2nd respondent on its own merits and in accordance with law, within the time fixed by this Court.

In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.07.2023 and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
