ORDER

This Writ petition has been filed for a mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents to pass final orders on the petitioner's last representation dated 20.03.2022 seeking for appointment of her son G.Manoj Kumar in any of the jobs in the Police Department or in any other Department, on compassionate ground, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Mr.L.S.M.Hasan Fizal, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2/6

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that her husband M.Ganesan died while in service in the Police Department, in the year 2013. The petitioner who is the wife of the deceased Ganesan, seeks for compassionate appointment for her son G.Manoj Kumar. The petitioner has given several representations and the last representation was given on 20.03.2022 seeking compassionate appointment for her son G.Manoj Kumar. Since the representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

4. Heard Mr.Dalit Tiger C.Ponnusamy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.L.S.M.Hasan Fizal, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

5. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 3/6

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the respondents 2 and 3 to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 20.03.2022 seeking appointment for her son G.Manoj Kumar in any of the jobs in the Police Department or in any other Department, under compassionate ground, on account of the death of her husband, M.Ganesan who died while in service, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

7. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
