ORDER
This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to extend the time for enabling the petitioner to comply the condition to surrender before the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Pallipattu imposed by this court in Crl.O.P.No. 28513 of 2024 by an order dated 14.11.2024.
2. Today, when the matter taken up for hearing, both learned counsel for petitioner and learned Govt. Advocate (Crl. Side) for respondent appeared. The learned counsel for petitioner submitted that this court granted anticipatory bail by an order dated 14.11.2024 to the petitioner, however, due to heavy rain and cyclone, the courier was not reached in time and so, the copy of order was belatedly reached him. He would also submit that as he is working inAndhra Pradesh for work and he is sole bread winner of his family, he is unable to surrender before the concerned Magistrate within a stipulated time. Hence, he has filed this petition for extension of time.
3. Considering the request made by the petitioner herein, this Court is inclined to extend time for the period of two weeks to surrender before the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Pallipattu in Crl. O.P.No. 28513 of 2024. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered. 12-09-2025
