Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st to 5th respondents to take necessary action against the 6th respondent for illegal cut of the Rain tree or Monkey Pod and further direction to respondents 1 to 5 to consider the petitioner's representations dated 23.06.2025 and 25.07.2025 and dispose within time limit fixed by this Court. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petition alleging cutting of one tree is blissfully vague providing no details. We do not find that the petitioner has made any application to the authorities seeking information regarding

permission. This petition has been filed without proper research and as the only allegation is of cutting of one tree, we are not inclined to keep this petition pending, but leave it for the authorities to examine the issue.
