Mr.M.Rajendiran, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider and approve petitioner's application bearing No.2022/09/08878 dated 26.09.2022.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner made application dated 26.09.2022 to the respondents seeking building plan permission and the same has not yet been considered. Hence, this Court may, without going into the merits of the case, issue direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 26.09.2022 and to pass appropriate orders, within a reasonable time frame.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the respondents would consider the petitioner's application within a reasonable time. 5.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 26.09.2022, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.The writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
