Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to dispose the 1st petitioner's father's Land Demarcation Application dated 27.03.2025 and petitioner's sub-division and patta name transfer applications dated 28.04.2025 and 24.06.2025 pertaining to the New (Sub Division) Survey No.130/2A, total measuring 1.18 Hector (2.91 Acres) vide Joint Patta No.492 and comprising in New (Sub Division) Survey No.130/1, total measuring 0.32 Acre (79 Cents), vide Joint Patta No.288, situated at Sanniyasipettai Village, Paalur Post, Panruti Taluk, Cuddalore District within Registration District of Cuddalore District, Sub-Registration District of Panruti within a stipulated time.

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking direction to the respondents 1 & 2 to dispose the 1st petitioner's father's Land Demarcation Application dated 27.03.2025 and petitioner's sub-division 2/6
and patta name transfer applications dated 28.04.2025 and 24.06.2025 with regard to the subject property.
2. Mr.S.Indhu Bala, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the Respondents 1 & 2 and Mr.L.Baskaran, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) takes notice on behalf of the 3rd respondent.
3. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
4. The learned counsel for the Petitioners submitted that the Petitioners made a Land Demarcation Application dated 27.03.2025 and Sub-division and Patta Name Transfer Applications dated 28.04.2025 and 24.06.2025 with regard to the subject property through online before the 1st respondent. Despite the same, the Respondent has not taken any action on the applications made by the Petitioners and therefore the 3/6
Petitioners have come forward with this Writ Petition seeking for the aforesaid relief.
5. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents 1 & 2 has submitted that appropriate action will be taken to consider the Petitioner's applications dated 27.03.2025, 28.04.2025 & 24.06.2025.
6. Heard both sides. Perused the records.
7. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side, without going into the merits of the case, this court directs the Respondent concerned to dispose of the applications of the Petitioners dated 27.03.2025, 28.04.2025 & 24.06.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing an opportunity of hearing to the Petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4/6
8. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
