Petition filed to quash the final report taken on file by the learned Mahila Court, Perambalur in S.C.No.52 of 2023 for the offence under Sections 363, 366 of IPC and 5(I) and 6 of Protection of Child from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.

2. The reason stated in the quash petition does no fall under any of the parameters laid by the Hon'ble Supreme Court to quash the final report. Hence, this Court finds no merits to entertain this petition.

3. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the trial Court shall take note of the time limit prescribed under POCSO Act for completion of trial and conduct the trial as expeditiously as possible and complete the trial within the time frame. 08.11.2023 Index : Yes/No Sma 2/4
