Writ Petition filed under Article 226 Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 4 and 5 herein to take necessary action based on the complaint dated 20.06.2025 and consequently to file a final report through competent court of law.

This petition has been filed to take action against the complaint dated 20.06.2025.

2. Heard the learned senior counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents and perused the documents placed on record.

3. It is the contention of the learned senior counsel for the petitioner that complaint has been given against one Venkatesan, Prabhu and Sethupathy in respect of survey of the land. Since there was a life threat to the defacto complainant, a complaint came to be filed, however, no action has been taken by the police, thereafter, the defacto complainant has been murdered in Andhrapradesh and one of the accused against whom the complaint was given had already surrendered for the murder. Hence the petitioner seeks a direction. Page 2 / 4

4. Per contra, on instructions, it is the contention of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) that the complaint given by the defacto complainant has been enquired and closed.

5. In such view of the matter, the said closure report shall be served to the other side and the Investigation officer shall supply its copies to the Investigation officer, who is investigating the matter at Andhrapradesh so that it will be useful for the prosecution to prove the earlier motive for such alleged murder.
