2. This petition was filed in the year 2017, taking in to consideration the threat perspective faced by the petitioner at that point of time. The police protection cannot be continued forever, unless the threat perspective continues.

3. This Criminal Original petition is disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the respondent police, if there is any threat perspective and the respondent police on receipt of the representation shall consider the same after taking in to consideration the prevailing situation and after conducting an enquiry calling all the parties concerned and thereafter take a decision in accordance with law. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
