This petition is filed seeking to condone the delay of 379 days in paying the deficit court fee of Rs.59,585/- in the above appeal suit.

2. Heard, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

3. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, this petition is allowed on condition that the petitioner shall pay a sum of Rs.2,500/- (Rupees Two Thousand and Five Hundred only) as costs to the credit of Chief Justice Relief Fund, High Court of Madras within a period of two weeks from today, failing which this petition shall stand automatically dismissed.
