The petitioner has filed this Writ petition seeking direction to the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 15.06.2022 and 16.09.2024.

2. Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel on either side, this Writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The case of the petitioner is that, the petitioner's son namely Shanmuga Sundaram met with a road accident on 22.11.2020 and despite the rigorous treatment given to him, the petitioner's son passed away on 14.12.2020, while he was under the periodical observation after his discharge and for the above said accident, FIR came to be registered for the offences u/s. 279 & 337 of IPC and subsequently, altered to section 304A. However, till date, the petitioner was not provided with the accident claim of Rs.2,00,000/-, despite the representation made by her on 15.06.2022. Thereby, the petitioner made another representation on 16.09.2024, which evoked no response. Hence, this Writ petition.
4. Though very many grounds have been raised, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to Page No.2 of 5
the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 15.06.2022 & 16.09.2024 and to consequently, pay the accident claim of Rs.2,00,000/- to the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible.
5. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that, appropriate orders will be passed on the petitioner's representations dated 15.06.2022 & 16.09.2024 within the time stipulated by this Court.
6. In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 15.06.2022 and 16.09.2024 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and aggrieved persons, if any. 7. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
