PETITION under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act to punish the respondent for wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.15009 of 2001 dated 26.8.2011.

ORDER

I have heard Mr.V.Raghavachari, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Elumalai, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. Mr.T.Parimelalagan, Special Tahsildar (LA), Hosur is present in court.

2. As per the directions issued by this Court on 07.2.2020, an affidavit has been filed, from which, it is seen that even prior to the said https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Cont.P.No.2154 of 2019 order, papers were forwarded to the Subordinate Court, Hosur for reference under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 i.e on 04.2.2020. It is submitted by the Special Tahsildar that the Sirashdhar of the concerned court is on leave and is likely to join within a week. He assures that all steps will be taken to number the land acquisition original petition.

3. The said submissions made by the Special Tahsildar is placed on record and there will be a direction to the respondent to get the land acquisition original petition numbered within three weeks from today. Based on the said submissions, the contempt petition is closed and if the order of this Court is not complied with, the learned counsel for the petitioner is at liberty to make a mention to restore the contempt petition.
