This petition has been filed seeking directions to the first respondent police to appoint an enquiry officer to initiate appropriate action against the 1/4
third respondent based on the petitioner's representations dated 09.09.2024 and 18.09.2024.
The dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent seems civil in nature and the writ Court cannot conduct roving enquiry on the civil dispute. Therefore this Court is not inclined to grant any relief as sought for by the writ petitioner.
Accordingly, the writ petition shall stand dismissed. No costs. However, the petitioner is at liberty to workout his remedy in the manner known to law.
