ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 417, 465, 467, 468 read with section 34 of IPC in Crime No.69 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that A1 is the power agent and he sold a case property situated at Aynambakkam Village, Saidapet to the defacto complainant. The first accused along with other accused persons again sold the same property to one Vijayalakshmi. Based on the complaint lodged by the defacto complainant, the respondent police has registered a case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are innocent and they have been falsely implicated in this case and prayed for grant of anticipatory bail.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation is still pending. Therefore, he opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration the allegations and also the fact that the case is in the initial stage of the investigation and that the custodial interrogation of the petitioners are essential, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
