This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the F.I.R. in Crime No.20 of 2019 on the file of the first respondent-Police.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent-Police, on instructions, submitted that on completion of investigation in Crime No.20 of 2019 final report was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate -I, Tiruvallur and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.382 of 2024.

3. Since the first respondent-Police has completed the investigation and filed the final report before the learned Magistrate concerned, nothing survives for adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. The petitioners are at liberty to work out their remedy in the manner known to law.
