This Court while disposing Crl.O.P.No.26733 of 2017, had directed the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Tambaram, to complete the proceedings in S.T.C.No.2974 of 2017, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

2.A requisition dated 04.11.2024 has been sent by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chengalpattu, seeking for extension of time to dispose of the proceedings in STC.No.2974 of 2017, which is now pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Tambaram.

3. Registry is directed to call a report from the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Tambaram, as to why the order of this Court dated 18.07.2019 could not be complied with. The report should reach this Court on or before 02.12.2024.

4. List the matter on 02.12.2024.
