ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 03.02.2024 and pass final orders.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that his wife got electrocuted on 07.04.2023. According to the petitioner, when his wife attempted to pluck tamarind fruit with the help of hook stick, came into contact with the power lines and she fell near the pole. It is the further case of the petitioner that the respondents were negligent in maintaining the power line and hence electrocution had occurred. The petitioner submitted a representation on 03.02.2024 before the first respondent seeking compensation for the death of his wife and the same has not been considered. Hence the petitioner has come before this Court.
3. The learned counsel for the respondents 1 and 3 would submit
that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law, within a time frame as fixed by this court.
4. In view of the above submission, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.02.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order
5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
