Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 6 to retrieve the lands comprised in S.Nos.298/1, 299/1 and 300 situated at Akkarapakkam Village, Uthukkottai Taluk, Tiruvallur District which is earmarked as "Meikkal Poramboke" in the revenue records from an encroachment made by respondents 13 and 14 and put it in public use.

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.P.G.Thiyagu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader assisted by Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 12.
2. According to learned counsel for the petitioner, the lands in S.Nos.298/1, 299/1 and 300 are Meikkal Poramboke lands and the records have been manipulated. It is further submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that fraud has been committed by the thirteenth respondent in connivance with the Authorities.
3. No documents are placed on record to substantiate that the lands in question are Meikkal Poramboke lands. A-Register is also not placed on record. The document dated 10.03.2010 suggests that the Patta No.279 is issued in favour of one Ponnammal W/o Munivel in respect of S.No.298/1.
4. There is no document placed on record to substantiate the contention of the petitioner. If the petitioner could lay his hands on authentic documents to suggest the nature of the properties, then the petitioner can agitate in respect of the same.
5. In view of the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
