Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to modify the condition that the petitioner has to stay at Ponneri and sign before the Ponneri Police Station daily by 10.00 A.M and 5.00 P.M until further orders imposed by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge at Thiruvallur in Crl.M.P.No.4403 of 2019 dated 07.09.2019 to sign before the concerned Court namely Judicial Magistrate No.II, Thiruvallur. O R D E R

The petitioner, who had been arrayed as an accused, was granted bail by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Thiruvallur on 07.09.2019, on certain conditions. Seeking to modify the same, the present petition had been filed.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner is complying with the condition imposed by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge by reporting before the Ponneri Police Station for the past 28 days.

3. Taking into consideration the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is of the view that if the petitioner is directed to be present before the respondent herein as and when required, the ends of justice could be secured.

4. In the light of the above observations, the condition imposed in the earlier order dated 07.09.2019 passed in Crl.M.P.No.4403 of 2019 directing the petitioner to report daily before Ponneri Police Station is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall report before the respondent herein, as and when required.

5.All other observations made in the earlier order dated 07.09.2019 shall remain intact.
