The petitioner/A1 seeks anticipatory bail in Crime No.606 of 2023, registered by the respondent Police for the offence under Sections 3(2)(a), 4(2)(c), 5(1)(d) of Immoral Traffic (Prevention), Act 1956. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner is owner of the Hotel Chendur Park and claims that it is a very famous hotel and 4 Star category hotel in Coimbatore City and that most of the very important persons/VIPs used to stay in the hotel and by running the hotel, the hotel has given a good name to Coimbatore City and the petitioner in turn as owner of the hotel has contributed for Coimbatore City to get a very good name. But unfortunately, the petitioner had also let out a premises for running a SPA, in which it is alleged that prostitution takes place.

The learned counsel states that it is the lessee one Jayakumar Murugan, who is running the SPA Centre and claims that the petitioner is totally unaware about the activities in the SPA Centre. The petitioner as the owner of the hotel should be aware of what activities are taking place in the hotel and if https://www.mhc.tn.gov.

kp any immoral activities takes place the petitioner also as a responsible person is answerable for the same. The first accused has been arrested and he is still in remand.
