O R D E R

[Order of this Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J] Petitioner, who is the mother-in-law of the detenue viz., Ramya W/o.Rajesh, aged about 24 years, has filed this petition seeking a direction to respondents to produce the detenue before this Court and set her at liberty forthwith.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents.

3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the marriage between the petitioner's son and the detenue was solemnized on 1/2 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

22.02.2019 and the detenue went to her parental home on the eve of Adi festival. The detenue went missing from 16.08.2019 and after searching for her with the relatives and friends, a complaint has been given. Since no action has been taken, the present petition has been filed seeking the aforesaid relief.

4. Today, the detenue was produced before this Court by respondent police. On enquiry, the detenue submitted that since her husband was frequently scolding her, she left home and stayed in her friend's house. The detenue also expressed her willingness to go along with the petitioner.

In the aforestated circumstance, nothing survives for further adjudication in the petition. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
