PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to call for the records pertaining to the F.I.R. in Crime No.81 of 2017 from the 2nd respondent police on the file of the Anti Vice Squad, Chintadripet Police Station, Chennai District and quash the same.

This Criminal Original petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking for to call for the records pertaining to the F.I.R. in Crime No.81 of 2017 from the 2nd respondent police on the file of the Anti Vice Squad, Chintadripet Police Station, Chennai District and quash the same.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing on earlier occasion ie. on 20.07.2021, there was no representation for the petitioner and hence the matter was directed to list on 22.07.2021 under the caption "for dismissal" i.e. today. 3.Even today, there is no representation on the side of the petitioner despite their name has been printed in the cause list.

4.Further, it is stated by the Government Advocate (Crl. Side) that charge sheet could not be filed against the petitioner since he is absconding from appearance before the Court below.
