Respondents Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, by issuing a suitable direction directing the first respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.06.2019 for conferring stepping up of petitioner's pay on par with her juniors by ratifying the order of the Registrar of Cooperative Societies in RC.No.30687/16/AC1 dated 03.04.2017 and to confer all other benefits with due regards to petitioner's seniority.

By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner joined service as Typist in the year 1986 in the Revenue Department through TNPSC. Subsequently she was transferred to Cooperative Department and there was no vacancy in the Revenue Department. Thereafter she was promoted to the post of Junior Inspector of Cooperative Society and again promoted as Senior Inspector of Cooperative Society and further promoted as Cooperative Sub Registrar in the year 2011 and working in various places subsequently retired on 31.03.2015. to refix the pay scale on par with her juniors, but till date the same has been not considered. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

3.Heard both sides.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.06.2019 and pass orders, within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

5.Though the petitioner has sought for a larger relief, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.06.2019 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
