The petitioners herein are the accused in Crime No.169 of 2025, on the file of the respondent police. The case was initially registered for the offence of 1/4

attempt to murder and was later altered to murder in view of the death of the deceased.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that these petitioners were arrested on 10.06.2025 and have been in prison for nearly 70 days.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police opposed the grant of bail to the petitioners and submitted that when the deceased, along with the petitioners, was consuming liquor, a wordy quarrel arose, which led to a brutal attack. He further submitted that the viscera report is awaited. Release of the petitioners is not conducive.

4. Considering the objection raised by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed for the present. 21.08.2025 rpl 2/4
