Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the entire records relating to petitioner's father detention under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982

vide detention order dated 23.08.2024 on the file of the second respondent herein made in proceedings No.881/BCDFGISSSV/2024 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the said petitioner's father namely Sankar Ganesh (a) Sankar, aged 44 years, son of Selvaraj before this Hon'ble High Court and set him at liberty, now petitioner's father detained at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai 600 066. ORDER

Mr.E.Raj Thilak, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the impugned order of detention has already been revoked by the competent authority and thus, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken.
