ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to conduct further investigation by conducting scientific test including Deoxyribo Nucleic Acid (DNA Test) with the deceased body related to the case in Crime No.237 of 2024.

2. This Court while disposing of this case on 05.11.2024, had issued certain directions for conducting DNA test and the matter was ordered to be listed on 11.11.2024 for production of DNA report. Thereafter when the matter came up before this Court on 11.11.2024, Dr.D.Thilaga, Deputy Director of DNA Division, Forensic Sciences Department, Chennai, appeared before this Court and this Court had directed the Deputy Director of Forensic Sciences Department to give top priority to this case and to implement the order of this Court dated 05.11.2024. Today (16.12.2024), when the matter is taken up for hearing, The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents police submitted that as per the directions of this Court, they have collected FD Card and sample was also taken and sent to Forensic Department. The same is recorded.
