ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus directing the third respondent herein to disburse the pending arrears amounting of Rs.2,92,500/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Ninety Two Thousand Five Hundred Only) for the period from 01.05.2021 to 31.10.2025 as per the revised salary structure along with appropriate interest to the petitioner by considering his representation dated 23.05.2025.

The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as District Data Manager in the fourth respondent vide proceedings dated 27.07.2016 on consolidated monthly pay of Rs.13,500/-. His pay was subsequently fixed at Rs.18,000/- based on the 26th Executive Meeting dated 04.02.2014.

The petitioner further states that loyalty bonus will be awarded to those employees who have completed three years or five years of service. However, due to administrative lapse, his was pay was fixed at Rs.20,000/- instead of Rs.23,800/- which is contrary to its own proceedings. The petitioner, also claims pay parity with the post 'District Microbiologist', for which a representation dated 23.05.2025 was submitted by the petitioner, 2/5
which did not educe any response. Hence, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

Though a larger relief has been sought for by the petitioner, this Court is of the view that it is suffice to direct the respondents no. 2 and 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.05.2025, and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, preferably within a period of twelve
(12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner.

This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
